We are thrilled to announce that Herald AI is now an official member of the Swiss Startup Association (SSA), Switzerland’s largest and most established startup organisation. This membership marks another important step in our journey to build the leading AI platform for cross-border inheritance law in Europe, and to root Herald AI firmly within the Swiss innovation ecosystem.
What Is the Swiss Startup Association?
The Swiss Startup Association (SSA) is the umbrella organisation and the voice of Swiss startups, working to enhance the framework conditions for startups in Switzerland and provide them with a unified voice, collaborating closely with various startup organisations and associations to position Switzerland as the leading startup nation in Europe.
The Swiss Startup Association is the nationwide voice of entrepreneurs, offering a platform where startups can stick together, benefit from each other, and have their interests represented at a political leve As a startup member, companies gain access to key resources, visibility, and community — including educational resources, legal templates, an investor list, networking opportunities, and political advocacy to accelerate growth and help build and develop startups under the best possible conditions.
With over 1,600 startup members and a growing ecosystem of investors, corporates, and institutional partners, the SSA is the essential home for any serious startup operating in Switzerland.
Why Herald AI Joined the Swiss Startup Association
Switzerland is not simply a market for Herald AI, it is a strategic cornerstone of our European expansion. The Swiss legal and notarial ecosystem handles some of the most complex cross-border inheritance cases on the continent, regularly navigating the intersection of EU Succession Regulation 650/2012 (Brussels IV), Swiss private international law, and the succession laws of multiple foreign jurisdictions.
Being part of the Swiss Startup Association gives Herald AI a formal home within that ecosystem, and direct access to the network, resources, and political representation that the SSA provides to its members.
The SSA makes it possible for Swiss startups to have a voice in politics and to stick together as well as benefit from each other, a community that helps founders feel connected to the Swiss startup ecosystem and build their network through peer exchange.
For a legal AI platform at the seed stage, that community and that voice matter enormously.
What Swiss Startup Association Membership Means for Herald AI
SSA membership opens a range of practical and strategic benefits that will directly support Herald AI’s development over the coming months:
- Investor access — the SSA investor list and fundraising database connect members with active Swiss and international investors at exactly the stage Herald AI is navigating
- Legal support and templates — practical resources for early-stage companies managing complex legal and regulatory requirements
- Education and workshops — access to educational resources including video library, guidelines, and legal templates, as well as networking events including Founders Dinners and Founders Day
- Political representation — the SSA acts as the nationwide voice of entrepreneurs, representing startup interests in politics and society
- Visibility — a company profile listed on the SSA website, increasing Herald AI’s presence within the Swiss startup community
The Swiss Startup Association provides a strong collective voice, trusted peer exchange, and access to experience across stages and sectors, strengthening credibility, connections, and Switzerland’s ability to compete internationally.
Building Legal AI Within Switzerland’s Proven Startup Ecosystem
Herald AI’s SSA membership comes at a moment of significant momentum. We have also attended the Geneva International Legal Week (GILW26), where our CEO Elijah Khalikov pitched Herald AI to Europe’s top legal professionals. We have been accepted into the >>venture>> Startup Competition 2026, one of Switzerland’s most prestigious startup programmes. And we’re participating in the START Summit 2026 in St. Gallen, connecting with investors, mentors, and fellow founders from across Europe.
The Swiss Startup Association ties these threads together, giving Herald AI a permanent, recognised presence within the Swiss innovation community as we move toward our 2026 pilot launch.
The SSA works to enhance the framework conditions for startups in Switzerland, collaborating with key ecosystem stakeholders to position Switzerland as the leading startup nation in Europe. That is the ecosystem Herald AI is proud to be part of.

Herald AI: Our Mission and What We Are Building
Herald AI is a cross-border inheritance AI platform purpose-built for lawyers, notaries, and wealth advisors navigating complex succession cases across Europe. Our mission is straightforward: reduce the manual complexity of international succession work so that legal professionals can focus on expertise rather than process.
The platform combines three core components:
- Case Workflow Engine — structured case management for multi-jurisdiction succession matters
- AI Legal Intelligence Layer — retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for legal research and document analysis built specifically for inheritance law
- Expert Collaboration Layer — enabling legal professionals to collaborate efficiently across borders
Every component is designed around an expert-first, human-in-the-loop model. Full GDPR and nFADP compliance. AES-256 encryption on all case data. Legal professionals in control at every stage.
